When arriving at Monturpie guest house, you may have some doubts about staying, but don't let the initial impression discourage you. The views from the terrace overlooking Largo Bay and Leven are breathtaking, making it clear why this place receives so many five-star reviews. Our twin bedded apartment was beautifully furnished with a modern touch, offering the same stunning views. The bright and modern bathroom with a shower cabinet was perfect for us. The breakfast served in the dining room with spectacular views was a highlight, with a delicious Scottish breakfast prepared by chef Linda. Monturpie also offers convenient access to local bus services for exploring nearby attractions. Overall...
The charming staff, who seem to be mostly family owners, are incredibly friendly and eager to accommodate their guests. The food was piping hot, homemade, and delicious. Although the menu was limited, it offered a good selection of options. The soups were exceptional, with the minestrone being particularly tasty. I recommend sharing the outstanding desserts. We chose to sit in one of the summer houses, but you could also choose to sit inside the restaurant or outside. The entire place was very clean, including the restrooms. The views from Monturpie are breathtaking. We will definitely be returning.
When it was suggested we stay in the b&b next to the caravan site our expectations weren’t high so it was wonderful to have them blown away!Rooms would compete with hotels charging way way more and the views across the Firth of Forth from either the restaurant or the comfy chairs on the decking outside just round It off, wish we were staying longer and we’ll be back .We booked a double and a twin room our double was actually a triple, spacious light and spotlessly clean with a carpet you just want to kick your shoes off and bury your toes in!
We stayed in Monturpie guest house for a weekend whilst my husband was competing nearby. Duncan and Linda could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The views are stunning The restaurant is first class. All the food tastes so fresh, the portions are generous and I thought quite reasonably priced for the quality. The breakfast was also very good. My children were also made to feel very welcome.We will definitely be back!

I recently enjoyed the most amazing Easter Dinner at this restaurant. The staff truly know how to serve up an exceptional meal. Every dish was flawless and made with delicious homemade ingredients, a rare find these days. We ended our meal with a glass of lovely wine outdoors, taking in the beautiful views and sunshine. Make sure to book a reservation, you won't be disappointed. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Was the first time my husband and I visited Monturpie and was not disappointed, we had not booked but got squeezed in to our delight had a good choice of menu I decided to have soup to start which was excellent and plenty of taste then scampi with chips and salad will definitely be back but will book just in case we can’t get a table
Second time of staying at the caravan park and will definitely be returning. Greeted on arrival and taken to our pitch. Stunning views and extremely well looked after park. Previously used the restaurant which is outstanding. Could not ask any more of staff who are friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend monturpie.
Spent 3 weeks on this beautiful and peaceful caravan park. I was surrounded by stunning views. Facilities were closed due to Covid restrictions, however their restaurant opened Friday and Saturday for the most delicious take away meals, including some very tasty home baking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here because we were attending a wedding at Pratis Barns. The owner Duncan drove us over which was a nice touch. Bedrooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it. We would stay here again. Property had amazing views over the Firth
