You can't really go wrong with grilled cheese, but this was just so-so. The kids were excited to have their pick of exciting new toppings, but both ended up going with the mini kids meal, which we all felt was an extra-small portion (half a...sandwich and a very small dish of mac n cheese). The adult portions weren't much bigger. The cheese is great, don't get me wrong, but for the price hype we expected more. Still, a decent stop on a busy touring day that satisfied everyone.
I had the apple jelly with speck grilled cheese and tomoto suppe. To be honest, it was the best grilled cheese I ever tasted. Had the beef brisket sandwich. It was okay...meat a little tough and pretty small portion for the price. I was disappointed given that the sandwich was not cheap. Maybe I should have gone for a grilled cheese! On the positive side, once that you could...take your sandwich to the beer shop next door and enjoy it with a beer. Staff were friendly.
We both ordered the macaroni. I ordered the macaroni because I had seen reviews that it was really good, but it turned out to be overcooked, mushy, and tasteless. It was disappointing, but luckily I had ordered something else as well because I had a hard time finishing it. It was like a bowl of disappointment.
Extra buttery, cheesy grilled cheese. I love their pulled pork version It is pricey for a sandwich, but it falls in line with all food in cavendish I always stop there and always enjoy my sandwich. It is filling
Stopped in here on our visit to Avonlea. You wouldn't think that apple jelly and bacon go on a grilled cheese, but they soooo do. Happy I was feeling adventurous, because it was a delicious sandwich!

I really enjoyed the BBQ pork cheese at this restaurant! It's a fantastic spot for a fast lunch. They even offer raspberry cordial.
Hubby and I split a grilled BBQ brisket and cheese sandwich. It was good, but I've had better. The sandwich was a bit pricey.
