The food is ok. It?s not great, and it?s not bad. The chicken salad is decent. The problem with Moon Wok is they are extremely dirty and very unsanitary. First, our first impression were the plates. We were given plates that had old stuck food all overthem. We told the waitress and she brought us two more plates. Those too had old food all over the bottom. So disgusting. Next,we ordered hot tea. We love good hot tea at Chinese restaurants. The waitress brought us a cup , not a pot of real Chinese tea,with a Lipton bag of tea in it that was so disgusting it was careless, reckless, and so unsanitary. We are from Bakersfield. Took a drive to find a Chinese Restaurant with good food! We found one! They even sell Steamed Pork Buns Manapua for us Hawaiians. Their food so good..Fresh....cook to order.. The service was great. The Hostess named A, she was extremely nice and made us feel right at home! A new restaurant added to.our return again list. We order items to take home: 1. Pork Buns 2. Sweet n Sour Chicken 3. Lo Mein type of Chow Mein 4. Sauteed Black Mushrooms Bokchoy All so fresh and tasty! If you go south stop by place an order. Very yummy Chinese dishes. We had crispy beef, green bean and chicken, spareribs, and combo rice. Everything was delicious. I deducted 1 star for blonde waitress slowness and careless attitude, and heavy use of sauces on main course.
The staff was nice and friendly, but the food wasn't very good. The appetizers were okay, but the rest wasn't very good at all. I would only give two stars for the food, but the staff was nice enough that I added a star.

Food was nasty.. who uses Angel Hair Pasta noodles for Chowmain? My rice was decent but had a burnt taste.. I spent over $100 for me and my family just to be disappointed.. and then the waiter demanded a tip?
This restaurant is more suitable for take-out rather than dining in. Some of the dishes didn't have the traditional flavors of Chinese cuisine. Additionally, there are no side sauces or condiments available.
Delicious food. The fried rice was one of the best I've had so far. My family really loved all of the food and the portions are really big. Definitely found my spot for Chinese food.
The service was very good, the person who served us was very friendly...The fried rice was plain, the sweet and sour pork was good....the portions were good sized and cooked fresh...

I've been coming here for 20 years, and the food is consistently amazing. The staff are always wonderful as well. This is definitely one of the best places to eat in SCV.
Got take out and wasn't impressed. The pork chow mein barely had pork and was bland. The other items were not any better than you would get at Panda Express.
