Mooyah in Old Tappan, NJ, what happened? The food used to be fresh and delicious, but yesterday my fries looked greasy and as if they had been cooked in old oil. There were also strange bits on the fries—were those crickets? Did they stay in the fryer too long? On a positive note, my hamburger was good. If I could give half stars, I would rate it 2.5. But since that’s not an option and I'm usually all about the fries, I have to give a rating of two stars. Based solely on the fries, I would give it no stars at all. Now my mouth feels coated with a layer of grease that needs to be scrubbed off. Mooyah, you've lost my trust.
What a charming restaurant! My son loved the Hamburdog, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Veggie Ranch Burger—it was simply delicious! Everything was fresh, from the soft bun to the crisp salad and juicy tomatoes. The staff was very friendly, and the place was spotless. We will definitely be returning!
I visited their Skillman, NJ location about a month ago. As always, they served the same delicious burgers, fries, and shakes. We sampled the sweet potato fries and shoestring onion rings, and both were excellent. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
For the price, I expected better and bigger burgers from Five Guys. Everything on the burger was cold except for the patty. How is it possible for the bun to be toasted and yet everything else is cold when I eat it?

The burgers are fantastic, but the staff truly stand out. I ordered crispy fries, and they made a fresh batch just for me. The burger was excellent, and I highly recommend trying it—you won’t be disappointed!
Everyone here in Old Tappan is so pleasant and helpful. Always with a smile when picking up curbside. The manager here will know your name. The food is great and so fresh! One of my go tos in a hurry.
Delicious burgers and milkshakes. Very friendly staff. You can get gluten-free bun or lettuce. It?s a family burger place. Every time you come in Everyone knows what you like to order.
It's similar to your typical burger chains like Five Guys or Shake Shack. The food quality and service are consistently excellent. Don’t skip trying the various sizes of the fries!
