bergheim, pretty little Alsatian town, very typical, houses a restaurant where you feel very well. We arrive at 4 people a little before 2:00. At that time, we expected a refusal, especially since all the tables were taken, in the room and in the terrace. The lady greets us with a smile, excusing herself of not being able to distract us immediately. She went to take 4 chairs to make us wait comfortably. Quickly, a table was released, we took our order. The kitchen is excellent and copyy. Some of us have enjoyed the speciality of this establishment. On the terrace, with few cars, in a calm and smile. One of our best moments!
Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce petit café/restaurant après la fin de l'heure du déjeuner. Nous avons commandé trois matafans. Ils étaient tellement bons. Parfaitement cuit et toujours aussi savoureux. Il s’agit d’une création spécialisée du chef qui n’est réalisée nulle part ailleurs. Servi avec une belle salade verte croustillante légèrement garnie. Le service était sympathique, serviable et rapide. Vraiment une surprise inattendue dans un restaurant/café très simple.
We've been delighted by this restaurant. We're eating with the locals. The welcome is very good. dishes are houses at a reasonable price. the dish of the day was 8,50 euros, and well copied. desserts are very successful too. you can eat on terrace as indoors. The service is very rhythmic and always smiling. we ate very well, I recommend this place without worries! We'll be back here with pleasure. We feel people working with professionalism and it's fun.
nice restaurant, quite a lot of homemade dishes. The frame is very nice. Although it was not planned, we even returned there twice on our stay. Special mention to the brown waitress (sorry I didn't take the first names), super nice and effective. a real happiness such staff (promised I am not from the family).So if you want to eat very well, with a staff who has the smile, on a pretty place, at honest prices, an address to remember.
Good value set lunch of traditional Alsatian cuisine. Each course had a good choice of options, including some local specialities that I hadn't come across before. Generous portions but quite rich. Service slow and slightly curt as they were very busy. Nice ambiance outside with views of a quiet square. Inside more like a bar.
very good restaurant to eat a good dish on a beautiful terrace of the very beautiful place of Bergheim. A village that really worth the detour to the tourist as we do not want to get feathered in Ribeauvillé. En tant que famille, nous aimons prendre un café quand nous sommes de passage. On nous a dit que ce n'était pas possible car nous devons également manger quelque chose. Apparemment, les Français ne savent servir que des boissons. Accueil peu sympathique et incompréhensible.
