The calamari was wet, greasy glob of raw batter and rubbery squid. The sauce was good, but the calamari was gross, disgusting and completely inedible. Ordered a heart shaped garlic knot pizza on Valentine's Day at 11: 00 a.m. I asked for pick up to be at 5:30p.m. My husband got there at exactly 5:30 while at the same time they called me at home to say they were running behind by 45 minutes! We assumed they forgot and my husband questioned this yet all they said was they were running behind. If they knew this I should have received a call at 5:00 not at the time pick up should have been. Ordered: Grandma pie, Cauliflower Pie Joe's Antipasto I wanted to be excited about this place per a local FB group. Not a fan! Too many competitors to give them a second shot. Joe's Antipasto- no mozzarella or provolone as advertised. I called to let them know just because I was looking forward to it.... They offered to bring a new one. I declined. I paid cash or would have requested a refund instead. Cauliflower Pizza with low fat cheese- OMG! So gross. Smelled like feet and tasted like cardboard. I am continually amazed by the food at this restaurant! Since moving to Lake Ronkonkoma in June, I've stopped in three times while running errands at CVS. I've tried the vodka slice, a regular slice, and garlic knots. Tonight, I decided to order a side of chicken with my garlic knots, and WOW! I was not expecting such an incredibly marinated chicken dish (served with bread too!). This has officially become my favorite pizza place. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly! This restaurant truly deserves recognition, and I can confidently say you won't be disappointed with anything on the menu! *Edit: Apologies for any typos—I was a bit messy enjoying those garlic knots!*
The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly, the wait time was remarkably quick, and everything was delivered right to my table. I ordered a cheese pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots were pretty standard for most pizza places, and the cheese pizza was good too. My only complaint was that the pizza seemed to lack a bit of flavor; it was slightly bland, but a sprinkle of oregano and some pepper could easily remedy that. I've previously tried their chicken bacon ranch pizza, and it was quite delicious as well. I definitely plan to return and sample more items from the menu to see how consistently good they are.
What a wonderful thing to have a family owned business in our community. This new establishment has old school charm with its MOVE-A YOU FEETZ-A TO FORTUNATO 'S PIZZA logo. They have a large variety of already made fresh pizza to choose from. The most interesting I found was the Thai chili pizza. Not only was it beautiful but it was unique and utterly delicious. The chicken was moist and it had that hint of sweet and spicy . This place is COVID compliant but if you are still on lockdown they deliver for free and they are open 7 days a weeks. 631-676-3916. Three orders, three different times, two mess ups. Linguine with clam sauce, with no clam sauce. But I got charged for clam sauce. Penne vodka with chicken, with 4 small strips of chicken at the bottom under the pasta. (Guess it wasn't a mess up, just basically pathetic). The third situation was just pizza. Which was not good, borderline tasteless dough and the sauce tasted burnt. Was barely warm. Such a disappointing experience all three times. I'm done with them. Try for yourself, maybe I just had bad luck.

I’ve visited numerous pizza places throughout my life, and I have to say, this one is among the very best I've ever experienced. The pizza is incredible, generously topped with tomato sauce, just as it should be. The hero sandwiches are fantastic, the salads are fresh and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and courteous. If you’re looking for outstanding Italian cuisine, this is the spot to go. Truly fantastic!
