Mowbrays - Réserver une table

We have heard about the place so decided to give it a try. We drove past it as it’s set back from the road, literally blink and you’ve missed it.Have to say a lot smaller than I thought. However let’s talk about the food. We’re all the same we look at what comes out to other tables.Didn’t see one meal. We decided to go for the soup with a sandwich. My wife had the Mediterranean veg snd I had the leek and potato. Both were clearly home made and couldn’t fault in any way. Now the sandwich . Very often when they say sandwich it’s half a sandwich normally quite basic. This was not the case, a full bread roll and really well presented and tasty. You definitely have the Wow factor Gorgeous cakes and generous discount provided by Mowbrays for the hard working front line Social Care staff at Scunthorpe General Hospital this week. The team thoroughly enjoyed their treats and gave you 5 stars Comments included “that was the best Bakewell tart I’ve ever tasted”, “the sausage rolls were delicious” and “the chocolate cake was to die for!” Thank you so much You brought a little ray of sunshine into our office I’ll definitely be reordering again soon! Highly recommended!!

We have started to call in here once a week for a coffee while out walking with the dog but have also had breakfast a couple of times. The food is great and the staff are friendly. It’s pet friendly too.

First visit since being under new ownership. Really impressed with the food. The pie had the most meat in it than I have ever had. Generous portions. Pleasant welcoming staff. Will certainly return.

Stopped here for some lunch on route to a meeting. Staff were super friendly and food and drinks really nice. This is a hidden gem and look forward to visiting again.
