We came here with friends. The dry ribs are good. The dinner was warm and had it been served when it was off the grill it would have been good. Service was poor. Our waitress was terrible. Not sure if waitress was new or had...not been trained. It’s sad the management at this moxies has not trained the waitress how to do her job. In mins I tracked one waitress in the section next to ours come to the area times. Our waitress Others around us who had the same waitress were as mad as we were and ate quickly and said they were not coming back. My favourite dish at Moxies is the Beef Vindaloo. Of course it is not a real vindaloo but it is very flavourful and spicy enough for me. It is served with rice on the side and naan-bread. Unfortunately, this time they used a really cheap...cut of beef. It is almost as if they are relying on the sauce to disguise the poor quality meat. I know this is not normal for Moxie‘s, as I also go to the Moxie‘s on Portage Avenue And theirs is great. It was quite fatty and chewy. We also tried some lettuce wraps with shrimp and that was quite nice. Dessert was a Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream (wife’s choice). It was ok, but not my taste. The waitress was fantastic and made our stay quite pleasant....
Our family adults and two children) went to Moxie’s on Kenaston in Winnipeg , Canada, to celebrate a birthday. Service was prompt and staff were polite and accommodating. The year old child ordered a meal that turned out to be very spicy which...she couldn’t eat. That meal was replaced with a different meal which was OK. Staff were happy to make the change with no extra charge. The cook was somewhat inexperienced so he inadvertently cook three strip loin steaks instead of ounce sirloin steaks. The manager explained the mistake and asked us if this was acceptable for the same price as the sirloin. We accepted of course. The steaks were excellent and cooked medium rare as ordered. We visited Moxie’s on Saturday July at in the afternoon and sat on the patio.The patio was one of the dirtiest I have ever visited. There was garbage all over the place,napkins and even a mask under the table we were seated at....I commented to our waitress about the dirtiness and the mask and said that perhaps the cleaning staff did not show up overnight. Her response was “yeah I guess so” The restaurant was not busy and could easily have been cleaned or reported to a manager,but No,nothing was done and to top it all off the mask was still under the table when we left. NEVER AGAIN

Busy spot for lunch but managed to get a good booth. Service by Braxton was excellent. Very efficient and pleasant! Food came in good time and everything was enjoyable. The soup of the day was tomato basil and it was thick and hot. The beef...dip had mushrooms and cheese and was served on a great bun. The soup and half sandwich on-board offered just the right amount of food for lunch. The fish tacos were good but perhaps a little overstuffed as it was difficult to find and taste any of the fish. All in all an enjoyable lunch.
Have been multiple times with clients for work. Have always been happy with the food and the service. The bartender Ashley and Marianna have always stood out, providing exceptional service. Will continue to visit the Moxies location in my off time and with clients going...forward! Chicken Madeira is the best thing on the menu, and is well worth it. Nothing has ever disappointed.
Stopped at Moxies Kenaston for day one of Burger week in Winnipeg. Glad we chose this place. It was awesome. Didn’t disappoint and paired with local beer Little Brown Jug and we have a winner.
Salads and soups are delicious..... they removed sushi cones from menu ..... too bad .... still lots to choose from !! Appetizers are very good to share !

Everytime I come to this restaurant I feel comfortable and welcomed. The food is phenomenal, and the service great.
The ribs were terrific. Best ribs I have had in a long while. Good location and the staff were efficient!
