My rating is based on the dishes that I had and the service I received. I looked through some of the reviews here and many others agree that the Aji De Gallina needs flavor and tastes nothing like it should. If this is an ongoing issue why not improveit or take out of the menu. Secondly the leche de tigre was amazing great flavor and decent size, but was served without friedcorn. That 's strange so I asked for a small side to be brought out, but the server never did by the time we were getting ourmain entree I asked again and her response was I only have two hands . Mind you she only had 3 tables. The rest of the dishesmy family ordered were great fettuccine with pesto and lomo saltado. This place I think it 's a bit overrated. Having anautomatic 20% gratuity for a party of 4 is a bit much when most of the bad reviews here are due to bad service. Just like theirname states this is a Peruvian fusion restaurant so I was not expecting authentic flavors, but flavorful food. I do want topoint out the host or manager who was there was extremely nice and welcoming.
WE very much enjoyed our experience here. The service was friendly, quick and knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Our server really seemed to enjoy her job. She checked in with us frequently without be obtrusive. We were well taken care ofduring our meal. For appetizers we had the Anticucho de Corazon, the Leche de Tigre and Pulpo Anticuchero. All were delicious,the Octopus was amazingly tender and flavorful, the Veal heart cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection, and the Leche deTigre was just enough to know that the Ceviche is impeccable. For a main I had the Fettuccini al Pesto with Skirt Steak. Thesteak cooked to the right temperature (medium rare) and seasoned well. The pasta was done just right. The pesto flavor wasspot on, however just too much of the sauce, it was almost swimming in it a you can see in the picture. It did not detract fromthe dish. I also had a Pisco sour. First time since a trip I made to Peru, and if you have not had one, its worth the triphere just for the drink.
Exquisite authentic Peruvian food. Lots of flavor, fresh food and excellent presentation. First time coming here and will be coming back from now on. Furthermore, the service was second to none. Paco was super friendly, engaging and welcoming. The placeis also very spacious and has nice Peruvian decor. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here. I 100% recommend it to anyonelooking to try this place.
I?ve ordered from here so many times and they have hit the mark every time! First time dining in house and the people that work here were very genuine and so sweet! The t bone steak was cooked to perfection! I?ve ordered their cevice almost every othertime before as well and no one has been able to beat their cevice, its a definite favorite! I highly recommend this place toall!
