Mrs Bridges Tea Rooms

During my visit to Leicester for a wedding, I stumbled upon Mrs Bridges Tearooms while searching for a breakfast spot on Happy Cow. Despite being quite hungry, my friends and I decided to give it a try after seeing the variety of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The cafe/restaurant is quaint and may appear small, but it actually has a spacious courtyard in the back with outdoor seating. I opted for the full vegan breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to receive a generous portion of avocado instead of eggs. Although I can't recall if they offered vegan cakes or baked goods, I would definitely love to try them next time as they looked delicious. I highly recommend Mrs Bridges Tearoo...

a beautiful old and authentic tee room. had royale and it was the best breakfast I ever had in Britain. the portions are large and the food is very tasty. people are friendly and it is really a good value for money. also the chips and sawnetee to test the chips were perfect and the scones were warm with a very generous part of the camouflaged cream and jam. they also have a children's menu. I'd like to go back if I'm ever in leicester.

always excellent. eating is always excellent and the service is always good. it never fails again at the mark. large portion sizes. good price. I love the eggs royale and the caspian is also great, the other half has the English breakfast, which was also the same great standard. outside seats in the small courtyard where the door is. a table service is provided. frau b’s would really recommend without a second thought.

I had a fantastic vegan breakfast at this restaurant. The quality of ingredients was excellent and everything was cooked perfectly. The price was very reasonable as well. The setting at Leicester's oldest tea room was beautiful and added to the overall experience. I really enjoyed my meal here.

had a great lunch here yesterday. the service was friendly and the afternoon tea was a good value and the bread and the cakes tasted all fresh and homemade. they have a large selection of breakfast and lunch. will come back in any case!

3rd time I have visited. Service and food has been excellent each time. Very extensive menu with all day breakfast options. Different from other places in that breakfasts can be ordered with sourdough toast.

Breakfast here, though filling, was okay for the price but some of it was burnt, particularly the sausage and bacon. Would recommend other options there.

Awful experience, rude unreal service, mediocre food for the price you pay, not greeting on the way in, obnoxious chef.

I only had coffee but that was excellent. My Brother and friend had Lunch and were really pleased. Very good service.

There are limited choices available, but they offer delicious coffee and a selection of cakes.
