Mrs F's Fine Food Emporium

Mrs F's Fine Food Emporium is a cosy tea shop, where you can sit and read a book, colour at the craft table, buy collectables or vintage clothing. I was pleased to find they cater for vegans, with two kinds of cake and a soup of the day, which happened to be parsnip, apple and celery, although I had already eaten, however cake was too hard to resist. I ordered a peppermint tea and a slice of spiced apple cake and my husband ordered an Earl Grey tea with a slice of polenta and raspberry cake fresh out of the oven and sat upstairs, to relax. Loved visiting today, Mrs F was an absolute breath of fresh air... So lovely and welcoming... We had a cheese and chorizo toastie.... Cheese scone and apple cake with coffee and hot chocolate...all of it was beautiful... Homemade and just sooo tasty..loved the quirky atmosphere and people...felt comfortable and welcomed. There were a few awkward customers in whilst we were there but she was so lovely with them.. and kept calm...so impressed...will definitely be back xx wish we lived tad nearer x

Very hard when you're vegan to find places to eat, this place sounded good and promised vegan options. However, the only choices were a celery and courgette soup and a flapjack. The soup was unappealing; sludgy, salty and very oily and even though they knew we were vegan they still put butter on our plates. It is indeed quirky but that is not an excuse for dirty plates, cutlery and chipped jugs. Oh and the lock on the toilet door was broken.

This Cafe has a lovely atmosphere. A mix of sofas, chairs, tables and stools. We only had a drink but the coffee was good and had plant milk, and the cordial was super. The staff were chatty and friendly. Some of the furnishings are leather, and they're proud of some of their wool products however.

My vegan children and myself have really enjoyed the chocolate vegan cake and its so good. The quirky decor and atmosphere is very relaxing and the upstairs has a great area where the children can be much more free and has some games, colouring and a little box of cars which suit my busy kiddos!

here is a pop-up for cakes and coffee after great reviews here. the personal was absolutely beautiful and the caffe was so quirky and cute! chocolate cake was excellent and got an absolutely huge coffee, good value for money. also saw some sweet dogs that never hurt.

A very homely and quirky little place.log burner,mismatched chairs,tables and sofas and the chance to do knitting if your that way inclined.They had vegan,vegetarian and gluten free options.I had a lovely carrot and courgette soup followed by vegan chocolate cake.

a cozy place to escape the rain. two tasty homemade soups, both vegan, served with sourded and plant-based sumpf. beautiful coffee and a series of cakes diced apples and chocolate today the selection also for the takeaway.

We popped in on a grey Wednesday for a cuppa and some cake. Delicious flapjack and chocolate cake on offer, clearly labelled vegan. Comfy chairs, cosy atmosphere and great characters.
