I took my mother and daughter out for afternoon tea today and we had a wonderful time. It felt like we were having a tea party at my grandmother's house. They had delicious homemade cakes, scones, and sandwiches. We enjoyed loose leaf tea served in delicate china cups with sugar cubes. The atmosphere was charming and nostalgic. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for a lovely day! My mother now insists on having her tea in china cups - it's the best way to enjoy it.

only a tiny little spot, from the high row in darlington, but so it's worth looking out. beautiful cakes and pastries and tee served in real teetassen. they can guarantee a warm and friendly greeting at the arrival. only had the mothers day afternoon tee, which was perfect and very favorable.

Lovely little place for an afternoon tea. Everything tasted lovely. Loved the little bite size cakes and quiches. Scones were yummy . I took my Mam and mother in law as a belated Mother's Day treat and they enjoyed it too.

I took my Mother in Law for cream tea, what a lovely experience. The little tea room is lovely and the service second to none. The food was homemade and delicious. Well worth a treat x

Yesterday, I visited this lovely little tea shop. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The owner is kind and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.
