The Chalet is a unique and enjoyable restaurant that cannot be easily defined. It combines elements of a dive bar, a family-friendly dining option, and a guilty pleasure spot for Birmingham socialites. The service is quick and attentive without any unnecessary frills. While I haven't tried much of the menu, the wings are exceptional and always my first choice. It feels like The Chalet has been around forever, bringing together a diverse group of people who all appreciate good comfort food.
Stopped in for a couple of beers. The room was pretty small and full of people, the energy felt big. Took a table seat sense the bar was full. The waitress was super cute and good at her job. I didn't order any food or even look at the kitchen menu, but I did take notice of what the table next to me was eating... And my lord it looked incredible!!!
The food was fantastic! The service was fun and friendly. The atmosphere was awesome, especially on game day. We were lucky to stumble upon this gem for lunch during our visit from Illinois.

This place is great! Food, drinks, and atmosphere all meet the woodward vibe. Also…Their mini beers are delicious!
