J'aime habituellement cet endroit, mais c'était un peu puvissant cette semaine. J'ai commandé les nouilles de Singapour, mais elles manquaient de goût et de contenu pour être honnête. Il y avait des crevettes et du porc sucré, mais les légumes étaient très légers. Pour l'entrée, nous avons partagé les rouleaux de printemps mini-végétariens, mais mes étaient toujours froids au milieu. Le serveur s'est excusé et ne nous a pas facturé pour eux, mais compte tenu de la qualité habituelle, nous étions vraiment déçus. Mon dîner avait les crêpes d'agneaux qui étaient magnifiquement faites et présentées. Habituellement, vous êtes vraiment rapide avec les repas pour ceux d'entre nous qui s'appliquent...
Was heading down the road but terrible wait for meals so came across this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised.Ordered the prawn dumplings as one reviewer has said before me stuck to the paper a little cooking spray would help there they were light and fresh.The scallops in XO sauce were nice and the lamb Mongolian also nice. Only thing I would of liked more vegetables there was enough of the meat just lacking in vegetables.Fried rice was a standout beautiful drinks were an average price.Service was top notch funny I thought you paid at front of restaurant not back.
We arrived early. Thought it was open throughout the day, but it was not. Dinner session only starts at 5.30pm.We ordered a lamb dumpling, yearling eye fillet in black bean sauce, sweet and sour pork, egg plant and 3 shots chicken.All of them were good to the point where we finished up even the sauce. For my parents who are avid lover of Chinese food, it was a welcome change after eating many days of western cuisine.If you are looking for a nice Chinese food in Hobart without burning a hole in your pocket, this place is worth considering!
Return visit. While our previous Yam Cha lunch was good, dinner this time was somewhat disappointing. The service was somewhat rushed and the choice of meals predictable and uninspired standard Chinese cuisine. My pork belly was drowned in soy sauce and chewy (!), not was I was expecting from pork belly. The fried rice was bereft of any herbs or spices and bland. For around $30 for a main a bit to steep for the ordinary quality on offer. Won't be back.

We arrived and were seated at a circular table upstairs. Service was attentive and provided water without being asked. We did not share the mains but did the entree. Fried rice was absolutely lovely. Chairman Mao pork was to die for. Wines were reasonably priced and fair selection. Final meal price was incredibly reasonable. Seriously recommended.
Beautiful dining area with lovely, friendly staff and the meals were amazing! We shared a duck dish and the honey chicken, accompanied with steamed rice...amazing! The Honey Chicken was bar far, the best Ive had in Tassie! Perfect, not oily or over battered like other places. Thanks Mu Lan, we'll be back!!
Uninspired by flavours, this was my second time at Mu Lan. The chicken and corn soup was tasty as it should be, but the salt & pepper tofu and the chicken salad were not to my liking. Service was lovely. I wont be back, too many other choices in Hobart these days.
We went in and were seated straight away without a reservation, but it was a Sunday night and a bit quiet. The spring rolls, Kung Pow chicken, mongolian beef and fried rice were all excellent and good value

Had dinner with a friend here after an early evening film at the State. The sung choy bau was nicely balanced but the three shot chicken stood out - a dish I'd never tried before but would again
