We were in search of vegan breakfast options and stumbled upon Musicker cafe. The staff was very helpful and offered plenty of vegan suggestions. We were pleased with our vegan bacon and cheese toastie, as well as the vegan haggis and cranberry toastie. The meals kept us satisfied all day. The coffee was also enjoyable. I hope to return to this place on our next visit, especially on a chilly October day.
It seems that the idea of a "flat white" hasn't made it to Bute yet. I was disappointed when I ordered one at Musiker and received it in a large cup with only one shot of coffee and a lot of hot milk. The staff were not very friendly and even suggested that I should have requested a stronger coffee if that's what I wanted. If you don't know how to make a flat white, don't offer it on the menu.
Fantastic vegan options some of which are GF too. Very friendly and helpful staff, even phoning to check if scones were vegan (they weren’t but plenty of cake choices and we had a superb lunch. Would recommend and will visit again. Our coffees were perfect
Smallish cafe with very helpful and friendly staff, especially the ladies from Eastern Europe. Really good mozzarella, tomato and pesto sandwich and it was great to revisit childhood treats with dandelion and burdock. A most welcoming place. Réservez une table maintenant
Popped in for lunch before getting the ferry. We both had paninis which were delicious, generous filling side salad. I had a coconut milk hot chocolate which was really tasty. Service was great all the women were friendly smiley.
Sailed from Tarbert to Port Bannatyne through rough and inclement weather. Took bus into Rothesay and found Musicker by chance …….. great food, lovely staff well worth the long sail.
Lots of vegan options. We had soup and panini followed by vegan cake (biggest selection I’ve seen). Wonderfully friendly service; great food and very popular deservedly so!
Fabulous busy and buzzing cafe. Best lemon drizzle cake I have ever eaten, really nice coffee and friendly happy staff. Well worth a visit. Réservez une table maintenant
