Myddleton Fish Chips

I arrived just before closing time, on my way home from an organ recital. Despite the fact that the proprietor would have preferred to sell some of the battered sausages sitting in the fryer, he took out a fresh piece of cod from the refrigerator and cooked it for me. It was definitely worth the wait. The chips were a bit overdone and had some small fragments, but overall they were fine. I will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Have visited a few times now for lunch. Your fish is cooked to order (nice cup of tea while it's cooking). Obviously always piping hot, taste is superb, staff nice and friendly and the only problem I have is that the portions are just too big for me!! but if you wish you can always take a doggy bag. Best fish and chips by far and I don't even live in Hoddesdon but will always go there when in the area at lunchtime.

This restaurant is a fantastic new addition to Hoddesdon, located opposite Morrisons and open around the clock. Their fish is always freshly cooked to order. I had a delicious large portion of Cod and Chips with Mushy peas. The staff were friendly and even offered a complimentary hot beverage with my meal. The food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was excellent.

This fish and chip takeaway is very friendly and serves good portions. If I have any chips left over, I freeze them and oven cook them another day. My friends even come all the way from Sawbridgeworth just to eat here.
