Remains the best sushi in Orange County. Hands down. Can’t wait until the sushi bar can reopen inside. Very high quality fish cut by CDM’s sushi genius Yasu! Has not lost a step in the over 20 years I have been going. Secretly jealous they went to Open Table because I want to make sure Nagisa stays with the intimate, friendly and family vibe they are known for. (And that there will be a spot at the sushi bar for my wife and I) Start with Ocean Trout sushi and let your taste buds enjoy the ride.
Nagisa is fantastic little known gem here in Corona del Mar... it is far more traditional and family owned and operated.. it's not a trendy, pretentious place... it is, however, the best place to have a phenomenal night of sushi and saki... quiet and the sushi chef consistantly delivers!!!! Sit at the bar sometime and just ask him to create an experience. Trust me on that, he will ... I highly recommend this great restuarant
This quiet little sleepy place of PCH is a must to stop!!! On Friday stopped and greeted with open arms. The restaurant was conceived as a Japanese temple. Our service spoke broken English, but was extremely knowledgeable about the food. We tried 8 reels and all were delicious. If you like sushi, this is a must stop in OC
I arrived for the early seating at 5:30pm and was the first one in and out before the restaurant filled up, although it was not as crowded as usual due to Covid. The food was of good quality and value, and could easily compete with sushi bars in LA's Japantown. Réservez une table maintenant
I was in the area for meetings and stumbled upon this hidden gem. The sushi here is the best I've ever had in Southern California. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and the toro was absolutely amazing.
This place is worth trying. You have large shares in fair prices. Regularly organized and with a great atmosphere. Would recommend others.
