This place was good, but can be even better. The service was very good, I dont recall our waiters name, but he was a young guy with wearing a hat. The bartender was also attentive to us even though we were not at the bar. Should be noted that place was dead, which had me concerned, luckily the food was good. We ordered 4 drinks, 2 apps, 2 entrees and a dessert for $147, so I felt it was reasonably priced. The portions were of average size. Everything we ordered was good; Buffalo Shrimp and Pork Nachos (nachos were different and plated beautifully). Entrees were gnocchi with shredded pork and pork chop with spaetzle, both very good. This a hidden gem in plain sight. This is the second time I?ve gone and was pleasantly surprised twice. The ambiance is quaint; nicely decorated with wooden floors and a fireplace but nothing fancy and that?s ok. I go there for one thing only? the burger. It is big 1/2 pound maybe? It?s juicy so I was surprised it didn?t break apart. It?s much better than the burgers offered at local area dinners and at the same price! The menu is simple, I didn?t see anything cutting edge but I didn?t pay much attention because I just go for the burger. But the staff is so friendly attentive and professional! Thanks!
The first time here. It is a place that could easily be overlooked. Nice cozy, cozy atmosphere. We were a little early, so we haven't been overcrowded yet. Appetizers were the shells with the fries. Good size in a mild white garlic wine sauce and the frits were crispy and salted perfectly. The entrances were the salmon on a bed of ratatouille. The salmon was delicious! (Not overcooked or dry). Hubby had the sun and I had the Brownie Dessert. All enjoyed with a bottle of Pinot . The staff was pleasant, professional and attentive (our Gal Olivia). Nice Saturday night!
