Nice revamp. I have been deprived of Nandos in recent months due to the renovations in the Northbridge restaurant. Today was my first return since the re-opening. I have two things which I thought were impressive about the revamp. The addition of an in store sink (and soap) to wash your sticky peri peri chicken fingers is genius. Paper napkins just don't cut it! Secondly, the cleanliness of the the new design seems to have rubbed off on the meals. Everything is made and presented with care. One gripe is the new outdoor sitting area reminds me of being inside the belly of a volcano, jeepers it's hot out there. This restaurant was a disappointment. The service was poor, the manager incompetent, and the tables were dirty. We waited a long time for a simple meal, only to be disappointed by the taste of the mild peri chicken chips we ordered. The portion size was also smaller than expected, and the chips were overcooked and lacked flavor. Overall, it was the worst meal I have ever had, made worse by the fact that it left us feeling angry. It's not surprising to hear that the health department report noted issues with hygiene. I would recommend trying other Nandos stores for a better experience.
this place really went to mist. used to be one of our favorite restaurants in northbridge (we have lived here for 10 years) sitting there on Sunday night and first said that it is only taken away. Why the devil would that be the case at 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday night? then they would not accept the payment with our gift card and no one in the restaurant (including the service) could find out how to get the computer system to our gift card. it worked perfectly a few weeks earlier we managed to go home without eating.
Love the atmosphere of this place. But thats about it, sad to say. Waited at the counter like an idiot for 5 minutes in a near empty restaurant whilst aervers walked by me. Food came out late, but my hot wrap was bland. No heat at all. Never usually this bad, I guess they had new staff on or something. Will not be back again, there are so many other fast food places to try in Northbridge that are so much better.

What has happened to Nando's? it may just be this one .... The chicken is now so salty. It can be tasted through the sauce and leaves you gasping for water. This is a recent change as it never used to be like this. Thought it was the sauce so I have tried a few and it's consistently salty. I have come to the conclusion it must be some pre- BBQ marinade.
The meal was terrible. There was a large piece of cucumber in it that they didn't bother to remove. The sauce smelled awful. If someone tries Nando's for the first time in Northbridge, they will never eat there again. However, the food at the other restaurant was really good. I will not be returning to this place.
Not impressed with the service. Had to repeat my order 3 times and it was literally just hummus and chicken tenders Lady serving also made so many customers wait whilst she slowly cleaned something behind the counter instead of taking the order and then cleaning when there was no one in line.
Disappointing, wrap with 2 small tenderloins only when asked for more the guy grunted and took my plate, added one more extremely salty tenderloin and some more purple lettuce (cheap and gave me the sane wrap (now cold) and on the same plate.

The food was ordered and they forgot about me! It was a quiet Thursday night. The service was terrible and the restaurant was very dirty. The staff were rude and the atmosphere was unpleasant.
