Nayya Restaurant - Réserver une table

Looks like your typical greasy pizza joint complete with vinyl floor, but the pizza is a step above. Recommended by Bill Spurr for gourmet pizza. We got the chicken pesto and meat lovers. The pesto chicken had nice chunks of chicken breast and it smelled amazing, but we could barely taste the pesto. The meat lovers had lots of sasuage, salami and pepperoni but the sauce was a little too sweet and not spicy enough. All in all a decent pizza but I would probably go to Morris East or Salvatore's before coming back. Certainly better than your typical mom and pop pizza joint. Walked in to order, and it took about 15 minutes. Would recommend calling ahead so your order is ready.

Being from Pictou County and living in the Halifax area, pizza is very boring and tasteless compared to home. Some people compare Halifax pizza to Cardboard. I would like to say Thank you to Nayya for bringing the taste of Pictou County Pizza to the city. Yes Pictou County Style Pizza with brown sauce, brothers peperoni, mushroom and green pepper smothered in a generous amount of of mozzarella. mmm mmmm good. The service is very good and friendly.

Pictou County or Gourmet Pizza that tastes like it should. Small but clean eat in area or take out. Shawarmas are nothing short of awesome. Everything (Donairs, Burgers, and a variety of fresh Mediterranean food choices) are good. The quality of products, cheese and ingredients are a step above the rest. We especially love the chicken pizzas and Shawarma. Owners are Top Drawer people.

We absolutely love the pizza at Nayya. They offer a wide variety of delicious gourmet flavors and the service is great. I'm so happy we stumbled upon this restaurant and look forward to going back. I may never buy pizza elsewhere again!

I come from a small town where the pizza is actually different depending on where you eat, in halifax it's all cardboard with dry tough cheese on top, nayya is the only place I have been able to find that's got their own taste.
