When visiting Forchheim you should definitely visit the Kellerwald. Here you can enjoy Franconian bread times and beer from local breweries. Throughout the year there is a constant temperature of six to ten degrees Celsius in the rock cellars, ideal for storing the beer when there was no modern cooling technology. Somehow, the cool beer came out directly at the basement and the numerous beer cellars from Forchheim were created. In the meantime, many warehouses have been built and, as with the Neder-Keller, a year-round management has become possible today.
