"- That's so mean! new owners destroyed this place. the good staff has finally gone. over boiled whistle and chips. if it is $18,5 for a service for four whistles. they would expect a beautiful, delicate filet. I'm sorry, but the new owners need to know how to attract good staff, cook fish well and make the best chips in perth. a relic of her former self."

the best fish chips! heard there was a change of property, decided to go and see what had changed. to my surprise was the service and eating so much better. the staff was more friendly, the serving of calamari, which came with 6 rings with 9, I got a larger amount of chips for $5 that I had previously and I had waited. I would not hear these bad critikens as they accuse this of changing the peculiarity that brings a lower quality product, but in fact to speak with the personal that has not changed, they clearly do everything they can impress and impress them!

Gone off the boil. I used to be a regular and it used to be great. Apparently it changed hands some time since I last went there, bottom line is I won't be going back. Biggest issue was that I ordered 3 serves of fish and discovered when I got home they only gave me 1 serve, and they did charge me for 3. The 1 piece I did get (grilled) had far too much lemon pepper seasoning on it making almost inedible. Not happy. Lost a customer permanently.

so sad at the change of own! While the taste was still the same, the portion size was about half what it was earlier, before the owner sold for 2 people we could easily order 1 portion of fish and chips, as 2 huge pieces would come in the box. last time we went (unrecognized owner had sold) we ordered the same and 1 small piece of fish was served. so very sad, was simply the best fish and chips in perth for taste and worth before this.

Don't believe the reviews. I'm not sure why other customers are bagging this place? Yes owner may have changed hands but all the staff cooking are the same as previously. I have found no difference in the quality and serving sizes. Calamari melt in your mouth with a crispy batter. Fish great quality and cooked to perfection. Chips if eaten straight away delicious. I will definitely continue to recommend and come back here
