I was in town visiting friends who highly recommended this restaurant for dinner. We also had another friend visiting from out of town, and we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated in a spacious, comfortable booth. Our preferred drink is an old fashioned, and we were pleased to find a high-quality version here. I had high hopes for this restaurant. The food was good, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I ordered the bacon-wrapped filet, which was tasty but not outstanding. I requested it to be medium rare, but it came out more on the medium side. The drinks were excellent, but the atmosphere was just average; it felt crowded and didn't have the upscale vibe I was hoping for. On a positive note, the service was fantastic. However, the real issue came with the valet. After returning home, I realized my house key and mail key were missing. I called the restaurant, and they confirmed they had found them. It may have been an honest mistake, but it was still an unfortunate experience.
I have been visiting Neighborhood Services on Lovers Lane since 2007, and last year's dinner was an all-time favorite. The duck, which was an off-menu item introduced by the new executive chef, was absolutely fantastic. Neighborhood Services is one of the best spots in Dallas for a delightful casual meal, offering outstanding appetizers, excellent salads, and a variety of options including fish, steaks, and what many argue is the best hamburger in Dallas. The fries are truly something special. This place is definitely worth the drive and is perfect for celebrations.
The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, making it a perfect spot to enjoy drinks and catch up with friends, or to create a romantic evening with someone special. The food is fantastic, with both the appetizers and main dishes being delicious.

As always, the food was delicious! We absolutely love the steak fries, but everything we've had has been great. The service is excellent, and the drinks—both cocktails and wine—are also fantastic.
Always a fantastic option for a night out! It can be a bit too noisy, but overall, it's a great experience. Marques is a valuable addition to the service team.
Our server, Prince, was honestly one of the best I've had in ages. Kudos for having him on your team; he's a true gem!
