Nelson Cheese Deli

I sent a catering inquiry as I was shopping around for caterers. That was the only communication I had with Wayne at Nelsons Cheese Deli in St. Paul. He responded to my email, and I had moved on and didn't send any communication besides my initialemail. 2 days later, Wayne (employee) shows up with an order I never placed. I was so amazed he placed an order without mypermission. He showed up to the address in my email signature. When I told him I wasn't going to accept the order, he was veryrude. I have never heard of a restaurant doing business like this. Someone inquiring about catering is not the same thing asthem placing an actual order. And to randomly show up to someones place of work? This was so creepy and strange. It's enoughfor me to never do business with Nelsons Cheese and Deli. I was turned off by the weirdness of this whole experience.

Food is good. Please remove your false advertising of sprouts being on sandwiches. I cannot tell you how dissatisfied I become after specifically ordering a sandwich with sprouts listed and then get home to open it and find out they had no sprouts. Pleaseeither tell customers when they order you are out or remove it from your signage.

Great service. No seating. Free parking in back. Fast check out. Small soup cup $3. Cookies $1.50, other desserts are about $3, craft sodas are $2- $3. Expect to spend $8-$12 per adult. Came in from out of town, and wish I lived closer to this place. Loveit:

Great Sandwiches if you love Deli?s I?d really also enjoyed the hot dogs! I love a Chicago dog!!! The service was fantastic too with very friendly staff and if I?m in town again I?d check them out again for sure!

Got a tuna salad sandwich with lettuce, extra onions, pickles, olives, jalapenos and Dijon mustard. The tuna salad portion was generous! So delicious!!
