This place must have opened not too long ago, since we shop at this mall quite a lot and I hadn't noticed it before. I don't know if Tripadvisor will let me say this in this way, but the place is completely half assed. It is also confusingly branded both as a New Asian Village and a Naan-o-licious. I know Naan-o-licious is a side company of New Asian Village, but they seem to have only partially thought out which one of those two things this place is a franchise of. The two dudes working there seemed like they were both doing the same thing, rather inefficiently at any given moment. I used to like the food in this place. However if you value your self respect please don't eat here. They have a regular Indian male staff member who needs to be fired. I went there recently and ordered 70 dollars worth of food and even gave them a tip. We had ordered extra food and when I asked him for containers to pack my food he started to have a go at me for asking for too many containers. Apparently he has to account for them and he has a limited number. I was out for a family meal and ended up incensed. I am sure the styrofoam and plastic lids I asked for would not even have cost the company one or two dollars. You don't try to humiliate you customers for something so petty. I wonder...
We order take out from here occasionally and have never been disappointed. The owners and staff are friendly and very accommodating. Their food is prepared and ready at the appointed time. We consider the food of excellent quality and good value money wise. I have noticed the restaurant has numerous oriental people eating there. That provides us a comfort testimonial in its self as to the quality of the food served here (and the $ value)
The food was good but the service was the very worst ever .We did not get our nan bead with our order, when I went back to get it I was given the run around and told it was not put on the order and I would have to pay extra when it was supposed to come with the meal, very dishonest, you may have made an extra 3.50 but you will never get my business ever again.

This place has a nice decor and flavourful food. The butter chicken is very good - the sauce anyway, the chicken itself is not the best quality in my opinion. We also had a beef dish and that seemed to be of better quality. Good naan bread, good selection of beer. Not the best Indian food I've ever had but it hits the spot!
Asian village Restaurants have different location and I have tried about 3 places, where you can have the taste of different Indian dishes at a reasonable price. If any one is willing to try different Asian type of food especially Indian food then it is one of the best place.
Try their full size restaurant for cheap and varieties. Food court is a total waste as they make all the item using their secret ingredient 1.Tandori Chicken Meat 2. Butter Chicken Meat Ordered a chicken roll and came out a nun filled with butter chicken.
This is the location in the West Edmonton Mall food court. The food is a good value and the stuffed naan is made fresh for you. I'd also receive moment the veggie samosa.

The food is more adjusted to suit the western world. No one who has eater at a proper Indian restaurant will go back to eat indian food.
The buffet is good but I am becoming more and more suspicious each time that the food is Halal, can't trust what they say !
