We stayed fairly near this pub and were told that it was a 'local ' place to eat. It did not look much from the outside, just a traditional pub but the food provided was very good indeed. There was a good choice (considering COVID restrictions in place so numbers limited) of meals. They were fesh ingredients, home made in most cases, very tasty and very good portions. We enjoyed it so much we went back again later in the week and although it was extremely busy ouside (large number of bikers) the staff still gave very good service and the food was still as good, piping hot and tasty. Prices were quite reasonable.The arrangements for COVID that the pub had in place made us feel safe.A very goo...
Visited here with some of my family and thoughly enjoyed it!! Because of COVID they managed to put us all together on separate tables in a little side room that they had. We had a variety of different dishes including lasagne, chicken curry and the big favourite fish pie which was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked again for the Saturday, pre-ordering 7 fish pies! When we couldn't visit on the Saturday due to a few of my family members feeling unwell we called them to see if we could take the food away so that it didn't go to waste. They provided all of the plates and cutlery that we needed and could not of been more helpful!! Loving pub ran by lovely people!
Waited patiently till the 5 o'clock hour and went back to the restaurant, placed my order garlic and mushroom ciabata delivered promptly and very nice,and for my main I had steak and ale pie with skin on fries and my wife had the salmon and prawn tagliatelle, again sufficient gap my pie fresh puff pastry and packed with chunky steak cooked to perfection and my wife proudly acclaimed fresh pasta and the fish to in a creamy tomato and garlic sauce
We have dined at this restaurant before and had amazing meals. This time, they have updated their lunch menu to smaller snacks. While the food we ordered was delicious, there were limited options available. It was disappointing since we had brought friends along to experience the previously excellent lunch menu. However, the desserts are still fantastic.

Just had good home-cooked meals at this roadside pub. Booked and gave our order over phone so that when we turned up food was on the table in 10 minutes, soon after drinks arrived!We all enjoyed hearty, tasty meals, lasagne, (veggie and meat options) and liver and onion. All done with Covid safety spacing.
We chose to dine at this restaurant after hearing great reviews while visiting Cardigan for a 70th birthday celebration. The reviews were spot on. The waiter and bar staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant offers a great selection of beers, excellent and friendly service, delicious food, and is welcoming to dogs. The food was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place.
A friendly pub with very helpful staff and home cooked food. In these tricky times they also implemented the COVID controls very professionally which made us feel very safe.

Absolutely delicious, home cooked food with great service. Plenty of food and good value for money. Good safety measures in place too with lots of social distancing.
