New Minas Big Stop

Went out there for supper with the family, and as we were sitting down, we decided to change to a booth instead of the table. Because the restaurant wasn't busy, and there were plenty of booths available, we didn't think it would be a big deal. Apparently it was such a big deal, that one of the waitresses became rude to my wife. Then after we got our food, I realized that they brought me something completely different from what I ordered. If I could, I would rate this restaurant 0 out of 5. Rude incompetent staff. Would absolutely avoid at all cost.

No wait getting in on a busy Monday, however we waited 45 mins for our order. Our WAITRESS was amazing! She kept going to kitchen to check to see if our food was ready. She apologized multiple times for the wait, she did Not stop the entire time (she was over the age of 50) and gave the best service she could with the lack of caring going on in the kitchen. Order club sandwich bacon mac/ cheese. Barely any chicken on sandwich and mac/ cheese was ok. The wait staff hold this place together !!!

Update : we are back here as we speak and like the last time the service and food is stellar. Amazing food, gravy was the best I have ever had in my almost 50 yrs of life, or server was a peach. Even though we live in Dartmouth we will be back just to have this great food and service again. Thank

Stopped at the Irving Big Stop in New Minas on our way to the valley. Never disappointed.with the Big Stop. Today’s visit was made extra special by our waitress Claudette. Thank you Claudette for taking good care of us making our visit a great one.

We have been there before and we always keep going back. The service was great and the staff very friendly helpful. We meet there with Family Friends every time we go to New Minas. It is also close to everything if we want to shop.

The food and wait staff are phenomenal. However, the surplus of flies in this establishment is quite concerning. Makes it very hard to enjoy a meal when they are on your plate, cup, utensils, etc.

Waited 45 mn for my breakfast, eggs were cold, potatoes and sausages luke warm. They were busy, but se eral tables around us got their food although we arrived and ordered long before them.

Tried my first fish burger here and was extremely happy with it. If I'm ever in the area again hands down this will be the place to get a good meal.
