I had lunch at New Moon today to celebrate a friend’s birthday who was visiting from out of town. The green beans were absolutely incredible—easily the best I've ever tasted. We also tried the Chloe shrimp, which was delicious. The chow mein noodles were a bit tricky to serve and not very hot, but the vegetables that came with them were just right. My friend asked for some white rice, and it was cooked perfectly. We ordered so much food that we really filled ourselves up and still had enough to take home for dinner later. The service was excellent, as usual. The atmosphere was quiet, which made it perfect for conversation, and I really enjoyed our waiter!
This will be my first and last visit to this restaurant. When we arrived, there was only one table occupied, indicating it wasn't busy at all. We placed our order, and while some of our food arrived, our noodles never showed up, and the dishes we did receive grew cold as we waited. When I asked the waitress about the noodles, she informed me they had forgotten to make them. We ultimately chose not to have the noodles since everything else was cold. To my surprise, they still had the nerve to charge us for the food we never got to eat.
This restaurant is fantastic! Every time I'm in Pasadena, I make sure to stop by New Moon. They've recently added wine to their menu, which is a wonderful touch. The restaurant is small, but it leaves a big impression—the Chinese chicken salad and fried rice are both amazing. Everything I've tasted here has been excellent. I highly recommend this spot!
Excellent service, delicious food, conveniently located near my home, not too crowded, and the option to dine indoors or outdoors... what's not to love?

The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable; however, the service could be improved, and the air conditioning isn't working well.
