Unapproachable and unwelcoming service from a woman buzzing around frantically trying to deal with the stress of 4 tables. Followed by undrinkable table water that was suspiciously "oily" in glasses that had the worst odour. Ordered a fresh juice and it came out in a miniature glass bottle smaller than a vegemite jar, after 3 mouthfuls it was finished, at $5.50 I could not fathom getting another one given the woeful size. When lunch came out, it was high quality in taste, but again, meagre portions, it looked as though they were on rations as a cafe. As I stated the coffee was OK, bu why should lactose intolerant customers pay extra for something that everyone else gets for free. That as far as I am concerned is prejudice, especially when you are charged 50c for the tiniest amount in a cup of tea or coffee. If you included one alternative to cows milk included in the price I would understand, but when soy, almond, coconut etc are all charged the same then I get angry and wont return. Most places include these days and accept that intolerance is a condition and go out of there way to help so why not you?
J'aime l'idée de l'épicerie / Cafe Mash Up et GreenStore Cafe n'a pas déçu de votre repas. Peut-être que le menu était un peu inimaginateur avec les options de petit-déjeuner, mais la nourriture était toujours bien préparée. J'ai eu les œufs de Dukka avec une salade d'avocat, que je recommanderais. Le café était correct. Le style de l'intérieur du café n'était rien de spécial, assez confortable et quelque chose de bruyant. C'est génial qu'il y ait des décisions pour les végétariens / les CEOLIACS / PALEO / NUTS DE SANTÉ. Essayez le thé des myrtilles.
We brunch here regularly and believe it is an outstanding cafe, great food, nutritious,well presented, generous servings and great value for money. this place is one of my regular stops for coffee on the way to work. The proprietor very kindly serves my coffee before they're officially open in the morning because he knows i start work so early myself! I've bought and discovered all sorts of other interesting products there too; there's always interesting new & local products on display. It feels warm & welcoming there!
This is the best thing about New Town. Great service, great atmosphere, great food, great coffee. Excellent for quality fresh groceries and Tasmanian produce. Breakfast is wonderful and very reasonably priced. They even provide non-Murdoch newspapers. I challenge anyone to visit the Greenstore and not be charmed.
You can only eat helathy foo dhere. No rubbish! They amke good coffeee too,and while youa re waiting for lunch to arrive you can quickly go around the health food store and buy a few items for your larder. (organic, bio, glutenfree, preservatives free, dairy free etc etc) Organic eco friendly healthfood store.
Enjoyed our after school stop here. Milkshakes were a hit with the children and coffee was good. Tables to sit at with table service efficient and friendly. Recommend this cafe and we will return.

What a lovely place for breakfast. Made mostly from organic ingredients, it's food that tastes so much better and is better for you. And the coffee is good too! What else do you need or want?
Greenstore is our weekly go to brunch/lunch destination. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly. Great free range eggs and wholesome food including homemade biscuits and probiotic drinks.
