A group of friends and I visited this restaurant the other night and we were very impressed with the food. I ordered a burrito with carnitas and plantain which was absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese was also excellent. The drinks were great as well. The service was a bit slow, but it was only because the restaurant was busy. The atmosphere had great music, a relaxed vibe, and the food was delightful. Overall, a fantastic experience.
My first time going here and I was blown away! I ordered the chicken tacos and they were delicious, my date ordered the sangria and I’m not a usual fan, but I was impressed because it wasn’t as strong and it was flavorful! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!
Newwave is the best place for Mexican food with generous portions at a great price! My friends and I love the vibe of the restaurant, excellent service, and especially enjoy the awesome 80s/90s movies they show on the big screen. I would give it a 10/10 rating.

A great, cheap sit down Californian style Mexican place. I was shocked at how much food we got based on the prices. The dip trio and Burria quesadilla was a highlight.
Awesome food and service! Food was amazing and large portions. Specialty drinks were cool and different. Will be going again!
