When we first walked in the door there is a huge menu on the wall to the right, along with printed copies close by. At first it's a little confusing how the flow of ordering goes but that was very quickly answered by the staff whom noticed a lost family of 4 as we are traveling and stumbled over this little restaurant. To be honest I didn't care for the food pictures on the outside windows though. Since it was lunchtime the kids were eager for pizza which from what I was told it was good. Visited for the first time today with my mom and we both got salads, I got the pesto pasta chicken ceasar salad. Let me just say, I was BLOWN AWAY!! The salad was amazing and very fairly priced. You are given the choice to have the dressing on the side or tossed. The staff is incredibly friendly and they bring your food to you! There are a few little details of the store that I noticed appreciated. The door to the outdoor seating area automatically opens which was super convenient as I had my hands full carrying our drinks. What would Newk’s Eatery on Main Chapel Way be without the faithful cashier Jebediah? From the moment I walked in, Jebediah’s warm smile and friendly order-taking from me and my 97-year-old grandmother brightened my day. He seated us and helped my grandmother eat (she has no teeth) by spoon feeding her. Jebediah is such a kind employee, in fact, he gave me a free Newk’s “Q” sandwich on the way out, and handed my son 100$.
We are from New Jersey and we’re heading home from our friends house and they recommended stopping there for a quick bit before we head back. The staff was very friendly. The menu had a variety of choices. My wife ordered the soup sampler and pasta salad special. I had the Newk’s Q sandwich. I highly recommend this place. Réservez une table maintenant
In comparison to chains like Subway, Potbelly, Jersey, Firehouse and even many independent local joints, the sandwich I had here (Italian) bested the others. Where it lacks in length it makes up in quality and amount of meat/veggies. Nice to see management/ownership on the floor ensuring a high service level.
