newks is a good choice if they are looking for a fast and possibly healthier choice to eat on their lunch break. I have been here since the opening many times and most of the time my meal is good. the pandemic causes a lot of company a hit and newks is not a take. eating is still good, but most customers like me choose to go their meals. they have opened the restaurant for indoor eating, but it is not too busy in the rule, except during the lunch hours on factory days. we came on a Saturday, so it was quite with a steady stream of people who came in and out. I had my first meal at Newk's, and it was a five-star experience! The food was delicious. I waited about 14 minutes for my order, but I devoured it much faster and was back at work in no time. The pizza was fantastic—possibly the best single pizza I've ever had at a restaurant. I wasn't expecting much from the mac and cheese, but it looked amazing when it arrived. Once I took my first bite, I couldn't stop eating until it was all gone. I will definitely be returning!
The food was enjoyable, though it felt a bit pricey. The tea, unfortunately, was not very good and had an aftertaste that I found off-putting—I'm pretty familiar with quality tea. They might need to rethink their brand or something. On a positive note, they offered both sweetened and unsweetened options with sugar or Splenda, which is a great touch. I tried the Italian dish, which was tasty but portioned rather small. I don't mind that too much, though.
It's great to find a healthy lunch option with generous portion sizes! My husband ordered the Cobb salad, which featured mostly romaine lettuce, while I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich paired with tomato soup. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. The service was efficient, as we ordered at the pay kiosk, and I appreciated that they provided an actual plastic to-go tumbler for our drinks. I highly recommend this place! I had only tried Newks through work catering before, but this visit was a great experience. Caleb, our cashier, was very friendly and patient. He took the time to ask us about our preferences so he could make some recommendations. We ended up ordering the ultimate salad, the salmon Caesar salad, and the chicken tortilla soup. Caleb was spot on—everything was delicious, and we loved it!
Had hard store bought croutons and the Newk’s Q was served barely warm. Workers let it set out to get cold to hangout with other people in the dining area. Whole kitchen was empty for a solid 10 minutes and then they decided to make the salad for the order. Experience was not good. I do not recommend eating here.
