Newmarket Hotel

Comfortable dining for large groups or just a couple. This hotel is a bit of a surprise for the inside is nothing like the outside. Beautiful old brick work to a pub that would be close to Heritage listing, yet the interior is modern. Food is your typical pub food. And pricing is reasonable if you go with the chefs special. Salads are from the salad bar with seasonal fruit.

Walked in off the street with a friend for an evening meal at "The Newie". We were shown a table, where to order, where the salad bar was and drink order filled by a very pleasant lady. The meals, a steak and a pasta dish were both very well presented and very good. Certainly excellent value for money. Highly recommend this venue for a meal if you are n the area.

Had lunch with friends yesterday and most impressed not only with our meals but also the friendly and professional staff. All our meals excellent and most substantial. Salad bar fresh and interesting...in particular loved the puy lentil salad. Staff most efficient but welcoming and happy to have a chat and a laugh. Well done. We will go back.

A hotel with great food and reasonable selection of wine. The glass folding doors open up the dining area to the outside which make you feel like you are outside. Staff have always been very good. Meal are pretty good too....It is the sort of place you wouldn't hesitate to go back to time and time again.

Four of us dined here 4 May 2017 on very quiet. All meals ordered together but 2 came 15 mins ahead of the others with no explanation. Seafood platter was sparse and soggy. Not impressed.
