We went here because we always visit NOTL and usually just have sweets and pastries from the fine shops on Queen St. but we never dine in to any of the restaurants. SO....this time we thought we try something different. I enjoy Thai food and so does my husband...we've had so many great experiences in Buffalo and in Toronto. The food here is average...took a very long time for our order to arrive and the most disappointing is the portion sizes. Also I don't believe it is made from fresh meats, the chicken in my eggplant curry had a certain smell to it also in my daughters Pad Thai w/ chicken had that same old chicken smell. The decor is nice inside...so for the fine dining experience, couples...
Firstly, nice to have a thai place open up in NOTL. It's in a great location right off the Main Street. The Service was amazing. Very efficient, attention to detail, etc. We ordered the chefs pad Thai and the garlic chicken. The pad Thai was delicious. Tasted authentic, bold flavours, yummy! The garlic chicken is the reason the review lost a star. It was simple a bowl of cut up chicken on top of romaine lettuce. Where are all the veggies? I have never ordered a Thai chicken dish that didn't come with some sort of veggie mixed in. Just seemed to ruin the dish. I would return though. Fair prices, and a few other things looks great. Spring rolls yummy too!
The four of us wanted to try Thai food as it has been a while. First, service at 5:30 is slow, more so than we expected. But the food was good, sweet, spicy and the dishes are deceivingly filling. Started with whole shrimp rolls in sweet chili sauce and do recommend them. We got pad Thai, Basil chili beef and a sweet and sour chicken dish with jasmine rice. All great. The cocktail of the day seemed watered down and we did not have desserts as they were limited.
Drove up to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a late lunch and were very pleased with this restaurant. The food was delicious (Chef's choice soup was amazing!). The waitress was very friendly and helpful. We did have to wait a bit for the food, but you could tell it was freshly made, so it was worth it (we were starving!). Highly recommend this place. Réservez une table maintenant
Amazing food and good service! Highly recommend giving it a visit. Slight delay with the starters but waitress chased it up (as she had noticed we hadn't received them yet) with the kitchen, apologised and gave us some Shrimp Crisps on the house. Overall excellent experience.
