I visited the restaurant for a sandwich around 4:30 PM and was shocked to see that none of the staff were wearing masks. The employees at the cash register and the sandwich makers were all without masks. When I confronted the man making my sandwich, he made excuses. As I was leaving, the girl behind the cash register finally put on her mask. I will definitely not return to this place. I advise others to be cautious.
I ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and I got a mushroom burger, a Jamaican beef patty, and a turkey sandwich. The only item they got right was the turkey sandwich. Instead of the beef patty, they sent me a completely frozen empanada, and instead of the mushroom burger, I received a bacon cheeseburger. It’s hard to understand how places like this can continue to operate!

Nick's Deli is fantastic! They always offer fresh deli meats and cheeses, along with excellent service every time. It's a must-visit spot in downtown Hackensack!
The sandwiches are delicious and tangy. Nick's has the best steak and cheese subs in Hackensack!
The cashier is great, and the owner is wonderful. We always enjoy visiting this restaurant!
