My God My God today!!! This was our first time at this restaurant and we did a take out. I was looking for a good wing place and this place popped up immediately on yelp. I read the reviews and my goodness we tried it and BABYYYYYYYY them Geechie Wings did not disappoint. My husband got the pork chops and they were great as well. It was so much we couldn't even finish which will make a good snack later. We both had Mac and cheese. He had orka soup and collard greens my goodness again . We will definitely recommend and will be back GREAT JOB!! Great customer service as well. Then the top of the mountain was KOOLAID yes koolaid in punch peach and lemonade. The food that once was delicious is not the same anymore. After being away for a few months, we returned to find that our favorite fried pork chop dinner has been replaced with pork jerky. Instead of the three juicy and perfectly fried pork chops we used to enjoy, we were served three small pieces of pork jerky tonight. It seems that the restaurant has sacrificed good food for higher profits. They should have maintained the deliciousness and quality of their dishes and increased the price instead. I am disappointed and will not be returning.
The staff seemed to be having a great time but it didn't hinder the quality of service it added to the joyful, soulful atmosphere. Both the service and food were fantastic (the okra soup was amazing). At first glance, the sides seemed a little light but I couldn't even eat it all. My daughter said she was sad when she finished eating because it was gone... we aren't from the area so, it will be awhile before we return. However, we're going to tell everyone we know to make sure they add this place on the list.
Yep. This place is as advertised. I usually heavily scrutinize a restaurant but i got nothing bad to say about this place. When I tell you EVERYTHING was hot and fresh when it came to my table! The macaroni was REAL macaroni and not some BS. I guess my only complaint is they ran out of ribs, turkey wings and greens but it's all good because I'm here for the next 5 year's.... I'll be back

Ordered some food for takeout, food was aight that day, perhaps the usual cooks were off. I’ve been eating here for years, which is why I was caught off guard when an associate there gave me the 3rd degree for asking for an additional set of plastic ware. Made me not want to come back, at least not anytime soon. Ridiculous. Service: Take out Price per person: $20–30
The restaurant had a limited menu with many items unavailable. The tables were dirty with crumbs and sticky surfaces. The staff was very impolite and refused to accommodate any special requests. I don't anticipate going back or recommending this place to others.
Drove in for a graduation from the Naval Nuclear Program from Texas and this place is off the hook good. When we come back we will be getting the fried pork chops again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This restaurant is a hidden gem! I can't stop thinking about the pork chops and I think they must add something addictive to the banana pudding because I can't get enough of it!

Make sure to order the fried green tomato appetizer and the low country ravioli - they are unique dishes that you won't find anywhere else and are definite must-tries!
