This is a wonderful Indian restaurant with a fantastic ambiance. We visited for an office lunch on a weekday, and it wasn't too crowded, so there was plenty of seating available. The appetizers were outstanding, featuring paneer tikka, lamb kebabs, samosas, and onion fritters. However, the main courses were somewhat lackluster in comparison. We ordered naan, veggie korma, paneer tikka, and chicken biryani, but found them to be quite average and on the sweeter side. I highly recommend trying the appetizers!
Out of all the Indian restaurants I have been to in the Northern NJ area, this is my least favorite. They are serving food in broken dishes. Waiter was not polite and food was less than average. We waited to be seated even though restaurant was fully empty. Appetizers came after entree. We were rushed to order even though restaurant was closing in 45 mins. Definitely not a fine dining experience. Not worth the price. Not recommended at all, instead try other local Indian restaurants in bergen county.
Incredible Indian cuisine! A true hidden gem! This Sunday brunch is fantastic—and believe me, we have high standards! Nirvana Indian Cuisine truly lives up to its name. The flavors are outstanding, there’s a wonderful variety, the service is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Plus, the prices are reasonable. The ambiance is both authentic and modern—just perfect! It’s definitely worth the trip from Nanuet, NY! Go and enjoy!!! Thank you, Nirvana!!! We’ll be back soon, Michael and Cole.
Voted the best Indian restaurant in the area several times. Separate sections of the menu for vegan and vegetarian dishes. Multiple options for appetizers and main dishes that are both vegan and gluten free. Waiters are very understanding about dietary restrictions. When you sit down at the table, they give you crackers and three sauces. Just know that the green sauce has dairy. Everything is delicious, and there's something for everyone!

I always go for dinner, but today went for lunch buffet. Quite busy, but GREAT service. Water constantly replenished. He let me know which Buffett options were vegan (6 all right next to each other. delicious , filling, and 12.99$ BAM good [censored] eat here !

This is the best Indian restaurant I've experienced in New Jersey. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the staff always makes you feel welcome and at home.
