NM Cafe at Neiman Marcus - Tyson's Corner

this is the second time that I tried the caffe in our post covid world. it was always a popular place to lunch, relax and eat delicious food. both experiences were terrible, but yesterday it wasn't terrible. we sat (with two babys) for minutes and no one came to the table, even to say we will be with them. the manager finally took a drink order, but we did not get these drinks for a few minutes. the manager then took our food order. the food arrived about minutes later. my hummerbisque was crowned. the chicken salad tasted days old. it was not edible. we heard the apologies, short staff, COVID related delays, etc. if they do not have the personal and cannot provide the service, do not take t...

Menu is lovely return to the best of what always worked! N-M chardonnay excellent! Only negative was having my leftover food (crabmeat packaged and brought to me immediately, altho was obvious I and lunch partner were remaining to converse over coffee. Food then sat on floor for an hour or so! Yuk! That evening I recalled there had always been offer to keep back in kitchen until I was ready to leave store! Much safer and more considerate. I do not like the white-washed window wall. Much more social and animated when clear. And please paint the center pillar .......perhaps with an iconic butterfly! Love ya' still N-M! -Arla Lewis

always great quality for this smartly designed seat café! small and a little limited yet aesthetic inviting and clean service is sufficient, but has not impressed me eating offer is limited yet refined and tasty!
