I grew up on Rosati's Pizza in the suburbs of Chicago. My elementary school had pizza days and would order Rosati's. To this day it has sat high up in my top 5 best pizzas I have ever had.After almost 10 years without having it (since I moved to California), I remembered about it on my visit, and it wasn't far. Man this place hit the spot! It tasted as good as I remember it from my childhood. The ingredients and ratios were all spot on. I was impressed they pulled it off so well being newer/franchised.My girlfriend requested no cheese on her pasta and the worker who handed me our order was kind enough to mention (without me asking) that there was no cheese on it just to give us peace of mind...
I work at “Just Food For Dogs” in the same Plaza Del Lago in Wilmette as this Rosati’s pizzeria and I can honestly say they have the best staff, they are always smiling, chatty and welcoming whenever I come in. The food has always been perfect and they always make sure to heat up the slices before packing them up. They are a great location to go for lunch since their prices are very affordable and their lunch specials never disappoint. These guys get a 10 out of 10 from me every time.
Right now, they have several promotional prices that make it worth trying out. I’ve found their thin crust pizza to be better than the pan crust, which I feel has too much dough and lacks flavor compared to other places in the area, especially those known for their deep dish pizzas. On the bright side, the sauce is surprisingly delicious—it has a great kick, is savory, and has just the right hint of sweetness, but unfortunately, there isn’t enough of it!
This is the best Rosati's in the Chicagoland area by far(and I've been to a lot of them)! It's new, very clean, they're very honest and fair and they also pay attention to detail on all order's(at least on mine) 2 thumbs-up ???? keep up the great work guys and welcome to the Northshore! Classic Chicago pizza, and enough substantial other items to not have to worry about going to a pizza place. Have only utilized delivery--quick, friendly, and order arrives hot and crispy.
