We could not get helped, when someone did ask if we needed anything he proceeded to say “have you been here before” we explained not this one but Malibu, Newport, and South Africa we have. He said “well what do you want?” Then took our order. After we finished with our entire order, he explained he cannot take our order that has to be done with the bartender, weird but okay. Bar tender came and asked “What do you need?”. It is the first Nobu restaurant set up by their chef in Los Angeles. We booked seats one month in advance to have this refined dining experience on Friday night. The valet outside is $10, and there are also abundant street parking choices. The service was extraordinary, they take precautions for the pandemic in every detail and gave us not only a sense of comfort but also security. They gave very patient advice on the dishes' choice. They know that it was our first time here, so they let us take orders one by one, to see if we like what they serve. An incredible experience of delicious flavour packed into every mouthful. Our waitress (wish I knew her name to mention but she had blue highlights in her hair) was so helpful and her recommendations were spot on. When in doubt ask her to offer what the popular items are. I enjoyed how we started with cold dishes, through to warm, and finished with dessert. I'm not one to ever choose a carrot cake on the dessert menu, but again chosen based on our waitress' recommendation. This thing is truly special. The lobster and wagyu tacos were amazing, as was the miso black cod, which was a highlight for me. Well done to the staff and chef at Nobu.
What a gorgeous place with amazing price for food that is so wonderfully put together! From the custom menu to the dessert, WOW! Wow, for taking us a in a few minutes earlier than reserved. Wow, for a gorgeous atmosphere! (Don 't come dressed down! Wow, for congratulationing us for the event we were celebrating!The waiter was really helpful and super friendly, the rest of the staff was on top of making sure we had everything needed like water and clean plates. We had the ribs super tasty and the melt in your mouth.

Incredible atmosphere. Our server, Alyssa was awesome. She had a great attitude and provided terrific direction regarding the menu based on our food preferences. Black Cod with Miso, Yellow Tail Jalapeño Sashimi, King Crab Tempura, Sea Bass with Jalapeño Miso were awesome. I loved the Nobu Old Fashion.
deserve the name and fame they have! they provide a great overall experience, service, ambience and food! dishes are all family/sharable small plates.. very tasty, delicious.. I would suggest sitting in the patio(it may be for bigger groups only).. valet parking available..
our waiter josh was fantastic! we put our menus away and leave him a great dinner choice for my father and sibling. we make monthly singing/dad memories and so happy that we came here this month. nothing beats great eating, beautiful ambiente and the company combo
The food was incredible, as was the service. The menu can be intimidating at first but let your server guide you and you will have a great experience!
