Noda Restaurant is a small, quaint sushi spot that definitely has its own charm. I tried the sashimi and it was pretty good the fish was fresh and there were some nice twists with yuzu or shiso on some of the pieces.I visited on a Monday night and the place was pretty empty and quiet, which could be a good thing if you're looking for a peaceful dining experience. The service was nice and attentive, which was appreciated.Overall, I would say that if you're in the area, it's definitely worth a try. Very good. The sushi is very fresh and what I love about the restaurant is that they don't give you too much rice on the nigiri sushi. Some places like to compensate on the rice so that they can serve you a thin slice of fish. What they do here is they have a small piece of rice, simply rolled into a ball and they are generous with the slice of fish. Sides were pretty good. Tempura was battered well. It was a thin layer so the batter wasn't overpowering. My fiancée got the udon and the broth was solid. It's a small quaint little place and I'm pleased to have found another go-to spot in Pasadena.
This is my second visit to this sushi restaurant. The service was initially slow on a bustling Friday night, but it picked up quickly. We enjoyed the seaweed salad, grilled shishito peppers, and soft shell crab appetizer immensely. The sashimi, salmon lover roll, and Cynthia roll were fresh and beautifully presented. I requested grilled salmon without teriyaki sauce, and it turned out great. Overall, the dinner was quite satisfying.
Absolutely delicious! I ordered the avocado salad, which was beautifully presented. I also tried the spicy tuna roll, and it was fantastic—not overly spicy. The ginger served on the side was very flavorful.

The food was overpriced, and while the service was decent, it didn’t warrant the high prices. I've never encountered a situation where I was charged for a bowl of rice at an Asian restaurant.
The food here is quite tasty, but given the prices, I would prefer to dine elsewhere. While you will enjoy the meal, you won't get as much value for your money compared to other restaurants.
Once again, the service and food were excellent! If you're a fan of sushi, this is the spot you should visit on Lake Blvd when you're in Pasadena.
So good. The fish was fresh and service fast. We had sashimi combo a, sushi- ikura, salmon, halibut, tuna. All was delicious.

I’ve been coming here for many years. Sushi is top quality. Everything on the menu is delicious! Staff is wonderful.
Update your hours. You're not open right now and i drive here for nothing. It's easy. Change it.
