I’ve been getting noodle gourmet for over 10 years. The food is great Hong Kong style take out with plenty of authentic dishes, at a great price point. The staff are always accommodating and I always feel at home here. If you’re unsure what to order and want to try something different, order literally anything from the “special dishes”, you won’t be disappointed. Soy sauce chicken/duck is simple but delicious, you can taste all of the spices used in the cooking broth. The beef rice noodle soup as an all time classic comfort food. I went with a few friends before winter break pretty early in the morning. My friend recommended the place, and she often gets their porridge and saves it in the fridge due to its large portion.I had their specialty Hong Kong Milk tea as a friend of mine recommended it and its authenticity and I had plans to go for lunch later. It was suprsingly pretty good.The atmosphere is also awesome! Although the light make you kind of sleepy, they have a few street-fighter machines set up that you can play on for free. I had a blast using those while waiting for everyone's food to get ready! The service was pretty quick although there were plent of people there.
Huge fan of this classic Rutgers establishment from way back in 1995. what i love is that they still cook the classics with tons of flavor while adding new options. My daughter and i enjoyed a classic game of street fighter while we waited. My faves are the roasted duck, Thai flavored noodles and beef Chow fun
I tried this restaurant for the first time today, and I rate the food a perfect 10 out of 10! I ordered the chicken wings and the house special lo mein, and they were delicious! I will definitely be returning. The only downside is the parking situation, but it's worth the effort to find a spot!

It's been 20 years since I graduated, and this restaurant still serves the best Chinese food I've ever had. My favorites (shown in the picture) are the beef with eggplant in garlic sauce and the Macao spicy chicken.
My parents started going to Noodle Gourmet when they were at Rutgers it has always been our family’s favorite. The food is fantastic it’s where my love for bubble tea started as a kid. Highly recommend!!
This is my go to boba spot! Today I got the coffee slush and taro slush and both were refreshing and not too sweet: haven’t tried their food yet! But their drinks are inexpensive and yummy!
The staff is incredibly friendly. The house-roasted duck noodle soup is absolutely delicious and satisfies your cravings perfectly.
