Very unhappy with my experience here. I've had several meals at Noodlebox, and this was my first time at the Kits location. When I ordered Thai Style noodle, the dish came super super salty. This is not the first time I've had Thai Style noodle so I was quite surprised it came super salty. I asked if I can get another one, which took some time to explain and then another half hour for the food to arrive, and the guy gave me Spicy peanut sauce instead, saying that this one would be less salty. But I didn't want peanut sauce. At this point (an hour past since I enter the restaurant), I almost didn't care anymore and didn't want to waste any food so I thought I'll just eat it. We encountered some issues with the online ordering system, so we decided to call in our order instead. After taking three of our orders, we were informed that our group of seven was too large to place an order over the phone. We were advised to order online and then the call was abruptly ended. Since the website was still down, we ended up placing our order in person. Unfortunately, all seven of our meals were made significantly spicier than what we had requested—way more than we expected. The restaurant is decent if you enjoy noodles swimming in sauce, but I found that most of the sauces had a similar flavor.
To be honest, I was really disappointed with my experience at Noodle Box. I remembered it as a place that served fresh, hot, and most importantly, spicy dishes, where the medium level of spice was just right. However, what I encountered was bland flavors, partially filled boxes, and a complete lack of heat. I don't know what went wrong, but this once-reputable restaurant has slipped from excellent to downright disappointing. I even regretted not choosing McDonald's instead; the spicy mustard for their nuggets would have been more flavorful. (And I'm not exaggerating.)
EDIT: I went back in this week and there was mice! Crawling around the floor in the middle of the day.I went here this week and found a piece of plastic in my food, I called the store to inform them and they told me I could have my order remade when I come back in.When I came back, the employees gaslighted me saying that it was 'impossible ' for there to be plastic wrapping in my box. They thought I was lying about it and just trying to get a free meal.
Additionally, I paid for extra broccoli, but I only found a few florets in my dish. The tofu was also not crispy, which was disappointing. To top it off, my order was packaged in a box instead of the bowl I specified, which has happened a few times now. I won’t be ordering from them again, which is unfortunate because I’ve enjoyed meals from Noodlebox in the past. It seems like there has been a decline in quality and attention to detail.
No to go box !? Round cardboard with plastic lid. Mine broke on transport.. cardboard softened up. my jungle cury was way too soupy. What’s worse for the environment? Was the original noodle box box’s lined in wax? Are these new to go better plastic lids better ??? The noodle in a box was why I went. Never again
expensive but good taste. ambiance wise looks really nice but it's kind of silent where you can hear people's conversations. not sure if they fixed with background music. it would be nice to get some form of privacy from the people around me.will come back here if there's not a lot of people.
