My partner and I have recently moved a few doors down from this beautiful bakery. I feel like we would have been two of its best customers if we hadn’t already set guidelines and limits for visiting. I also believe we would have been twice...the size and very poor if we didn’t set these limits. This is a great place to indulge and spend your cash. Sweet and savoury. Another delight of this bakery is the fresh bread aroma that I can smell every time I set off for work. This is shows how fresh their produce is.
I live around the corner of Norfolk Street bakery and do love the idea of popping round in the morning to grab some bread and other nibbles. It's pricier than the supermarket but that's ok as it's a treat and nice to support local business....I always feel it's a shame the lady is so moody and often quite rude. The baked goods are otherwise nice and of a reasonable standard. I would recommend it but be prepared for service without a smile!
Found this little bakery accidentally during a wander round the less popular areas of Cambridge. Beautifully presented cakes, pastries, sandwiches etc. Delicious breads, original and tasty fillings and a lovely ambience. Staff were genuinely friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommended and worth a little stroll.
my sister visited the norfolk st bakery, who just visited our tante in a nearby nursing home. we were too late, they close directly, but the dame very friendly let us sit enjoy teecakes. it was a difficult day. for us, but the dame could not have been more friendly. thanks again.
