We went out to celebrate a birthday and have a meal, but were very disappointed with the food. The Norfolk Chicken Burger was dry and tasteless, the coleslaw was dry as well. The crumbed cutlets were overcooked and not enjoyable. The fish seemed to be out of a packet and the batter was tough. The pizza was okay. We were told we had to wait for nuggets because they were overcooked, which was puzzling. After spending over $150, we were charged $2 for a tub of gravy, which was the final straw for us. We won't be returning to this restaurant.
The food was delicious as always, but we were disappointed with the casual attitude of the two female staff members behind the counter. We ordered a coffee with our meals, but had to repeatedly ask for it and only received it five minutes after our meals arrived. Additionally, when I ordered a half scotch and coke, they insisted on charging me for a full nip, which I found to be unusual as other establishments normally charge for halves. Overall, not a very satisfying experience.
First time dining here today. We had 3 birthdays to celebrate and we all enjoyed a lovely lunch. Meals were good and drinks were very reasonably priced. We had a tiny hiccup when the drinks service was slow due to staff being run off their feet, but Caitlin the waitstaff member was so lovely about it and offered us a complimentary dessert which was so lovely of her. The tavern is a very relaxed and casual place with good food and really lovely staff.
Third visit. Very handy central location for bringing spread out family together. Handle large groups easily. My choice is always the pizza but all the meals look good. A little chilly in winter due to the open sides and on my last visit the music was rather loud. Its an ok venue and I would go again. Parking bad early in the evening due to all the parents parking there who have kids playing at sports fields next door. OK after 6.30pm.

Tonight, I went to dinner with my family and we had an amazing experience with the service. All the staff were great, but our server Christie was especially lovely and helpful. She was welcoming and friendly, especially towards our younger family members, and answered all of our questions. We couldn't have asked for better service! We will definitely be returning. 10/10.
5. out of 5 The service was a refreshing customer focus experience. Nothing was to hard or difficult. Can only express positive praise for the staff. The food was exceptional for a pub, hats off to the Chef and their staff. Will be coming back and brining guests. Thank you for a brilliant experience.
Great pub to bring your children as there's an outdoor play-area for them. The food was great, substantial sized meals and typical pub menu on offer. There's also inside and an outside dining area and the staff were welcoming.
Lovely establishment with wonderful staff. Shout out to sarah for always being so polite and welcoming. Highly recommended.
