1st time ordering and delivery. Based on Google pictures and the type of menu I knew what to expect but once I received the neatly packaged food as I was opening the bag from assorted tempura to the last piece of our $200 spent was so clean fresh delicious and enough rice to not be able to say which one was our favorite ?Forgot to send chopsticks but the Ginger they make and they way it's served even for delivery is only authentic Japanese.So many things on the menu and pictures that I didn't order on purpose because they shouldn't be deliverable in my taste.Arigato daamadashka
We've been coming to this restaurant for about a year now, and we couldn't be happier with the flavors. While it's not the most affordable option, the quality of the fish and the service are excellent. The small outdoor seating area is lovely, despite some street noise. I highly recommend the Chirashi (a variety of fish over rice) and the chicken karaage (fried marinated chicken).
Love everything about this place. They are extremely accommodating to vegan and gluten free diets with many different vegan sushi rolls to choose from. They even let us do a vegan version of the crispy rice (with avocado instead of spicy tuna).The patio is super cute and dog friendly. Great sake selection, great appetizers, great sushi, great service.
Stumbled upon this quaint restaurant walking down Santa Monica and my goodness — it was incredible! Got the Nigiri tasting and the Hamachi among a handful of items. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Service is super attentive and with amicable staff. Also playing a Miyazaki soundtrack was just icing on the cake. Don’t sleep on this spot.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and had no idea we would enjoy such a truly special, authentic, and fresh Japanese meal. The sushi chef's selection and attention to detail, along with the impeccable service from the waitstaff and other helpers, made our experience unforgettable. We will definitely return next time we're in town!
The sashimi was perfectly sliced, allowing you to truly appreciate the texture of the fish in each piece, which was notably fresh. The sushi was also excellent. I absolutely loved the homemade egg custard paired with uni—it melts in your mouth!
A+ in every way authentic tasty food, prompt friendly service, and reasonable prices. We had sushi only, and everything was great. Garlic edamame is a great way to start the meal.
Hands down the best sushi place in this area. Amazing quality fish, beautiful presentation and prices you can’t beat.
