Terrible experience at Normandin. I tried the Gen Tao poutine from their menu, and it was poorly prepared. While the cheese was decent, the sauce was excessively sweet, and the fries were disappointing. Instead of being crispy, they were soggy, as if soaked in warm water. Additionally, the prices did not offer good value.
The waitstaff were very rude and disrespectful. They served our coffee before the main course. It took forever to place our order. We never received our bill and had to go to the bar to pay. I ended up having to do their job, and then they still expected me to leave a tip.
Great staff—special thanks to Julie—delicious food, and reasonable prices considering the post-pandemic period.
