The pictures I share are two out of three records of my order, which I first picked out, and I will not do or recommend. I usually eat at this place and everything goes well and the food is good, what it was this time, but with some inconvenience. So for one of my meals I commanded the chefs Sampler platter and when I came home and opened my bag and literally saw only two full onion rings there and the rest was little onion rings disappointing. It also said on the menu it comes with cocktail sauce, ranch, honey mustard and marinara and all I got was Marinara. Second dish was the porterhouse with the assumption of being tender and shrimp, and I didn't even get any shrimp for which I paid and...
While my mother and I were in the city, we stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a Sizzler after visiting a Steak House, which is no longer in business. When we spotted NORMS, we decided to give it a try since we hadn't been to one before, as there aren't any in our area of Lancaster or Palmdale. I ordered a burger and fries, which were both very good. The portion of fries was just right—not too much and not too little. I also really enjoyed her salted caramel-flavored hot coffee. On another day, we visited a second location in Van Nuys, thinking we could use some discounts, but we were a day too early. This location turned out to be better because it was quieter.
We went here at 4 a.m. (9/17/22) Kevin was then our server. He was a natural talent, he was very friendly, super friendly, really funny. Had no amazing service in a while. Maybe because we're the only ones, he was really attentive. Will definitely be back, hopefully back at 4:00. Thank you, Kevin. You're an amazing person.
Can always count on Norm's for good food and service. My wife's T-bone steak was even better than anticipated and the Bigger Better Breakfast is an excellent value. I love that the hash browns are not at all greasy like some other places. We prefer the Pico Rivera location so we drive the extra 10 miles. Réservez une table maintenant
Food is always pretty good. Larger portions than the other chain diners at comparable prices. Service can be hit or miss, depends on how busy it is. I usually do avoid on weekends though, long wait time and food can obviously take longer to get. Go during the week and avoid the crowd if you can?
Finally, they made my expulsion right! I love the food at Norms and I enjoy taking it home. Personally, I would like to order pickup instead of delivery. It's much faster to get yourself. I ordered fried shrimps and it was amazing. The loaded baked potato was okay, but could be better.
