Norte is located on the beach in Carlsbad. It is a cute location. You order your food at the counter and they use a load speaker to call you when it is ready. There are places to sit. The speaker is hard to hear outdoors, so if you grab a table there you may want to have someone inside waiting for your name to be called. They need to work on this. This place is really between and 3 and a 4 rating, but with the nice service and the location, I felt they deserved the benefit of the 4. Their food is good, not great. The food was good. Everything is Super Covid compliant, there is no wait staff. You order your food at the desk and everything is packed to go. Beverages are made and sealed with plastic and they have these cute faces and you get a straw that can poke thru like a capri sun. Your food is ready quickly and everything is hot and tasty. You're giving disposable silverware and napkins. You can sit outside by the fire or stay watch the game if you choose. Loved it! The beef tacos, and burritos were very good, good size , the guacamole was fresh, loved that the lunch special came with a choice of a margarita beer , many Mexican restaurants charge the same, with no beverage ! We will be visiting again

I love it there. We go every time we are in town. The waiters are awesome and have a great sense of humor. A little type if you like it hot...request they bring out the very hot hot salsa. My favorite soup is the albondigas. Great place !!!!
Great place for lunch and a Patron margarita. You can eat inside or outside or just do take-out, your choice. Explore Carlsbad Village and/or stroll on the beach afterwards. Either way, good times.
This place was delicious and fast with food coming out hot. The servers were very friendly and very accommodating of our family! The salsa had such great flavor!
