Ice cream is typical coldstone ice cream but some of the employees just don’t want to do their job. I placed a pickup order on google and went to pick it up. I paid for it online and tipped. When I got to the store the young man working the front area told the female in the back “hey there’s a pickup order can you get him his ice cream”, she replied by telling him to shut up, Very unprofessional and just rude to her co-worker. There were two females in the back room talking the entire time time I was there. Meanwhile the young man was making the ice cream. I visited the restaurant tonight with a group of four, three of whom are vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Unfortunately, there was no manager on duty, and the two staff members present were not familiar with which menu items were gluten or dairy-free. To make matters worse, all the silk ice cream and sorbet were out of stock. They also couldn't confirm if any of the toppings were gluten-free or vegan and mentioned that they didn't know how to find that information. As a result, only one person from our group was able to order ice cream.
The sign near the register states you'll encounter a fun, energized, enthusiastic staff serving you ice cream...instead you'll encounter one red head that loves to count how many m&ms she wants to put in your ice cream and another in Christmas pajamas with headphones in complaining about how many guests are coming through the door on a busy Saturday night....and you'll probably have to wait a few minutes to pay. no wonder everybody prefers the cold stone in Summerville. You can get ice cream, cookies and a better attitude.
We had a fairly good experience here. The restaurant could use a little tidying up and some reorganization, but it's not too bad overall. My only issue was finding the place; it's located in a plaza between two other restaurants, and the slope and trees obstruct its visibility. Aside from that, it’s the familiar "Cold Stone" we all know. The staff was quite friendly and had smiles on their faces while assisting us. We visited on a Sunday, and it was surprisingly not too crowded.

Asked if they had any allergy information as I need gluten free and the employee looked at me like I was an alien. Had no idea what I was requesting or care to find out; even though their menu board says they have allergy information available if requested. The employee clearly didn't feel like working, not a single soul was in the facility either. We left immediately and went elsewhere. Would not waste your time going to this location.
"I ordered a smoothie with no ice, but I was disappointed with my experience. The restrooms were locked by the staff, preventing customers from using them. Additionally, the ice cream was not properly prepared; the marble slab wasn't cleaned between servings, which led to unwanted toppings mixing into my ice cream. Overall, it was not a great visit."
Absolutely disgusting. My daughter and I walked in and it smelled like hot throw up, we immediately turned around and left. The floors look like they have never been cleaned, I can't imagine what the back of house looks like if your front has a putrid smell and looks that dirty to guest walking in.
No wait, but the girl serving me made too much so she had to put into multiple bowls. I ordered a large bowl of founders favorite with cookie dough ice cream, and wasn't sad I had too much. Loved every bite.
